Rest & Refreshment and Personal Retreat Weeks 2017

Rest and refreshment weeks offer time to step away from everyday life and to rest in the presence of God. Alongside daily worship, a programme will be available to help you on your journey throughout your stay. If we have rooms available, you can book to come on personal retreat throughout the year. You are welcome to enjoy the daily worship and fellowship at mealtimes, yet do your own thing as far as your retreat is concerned.

On the Tuesday of each Rest & Refreshment week, we are offering an optional Art Day run by local artists.  These days are also open to those who wish to attend just for the day and can be booked separately to Rest & Refreshment weeks. All retreat guests are welcome to attend the Healing Services on a Wednesday evening and Friday morning. There is also a service of Compline at 9pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the local church adjacent to the Centre.  Come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds where a warm welcome from the Harnhill Community awaits you.

Please note that although prayer ministry is available at the healing services on the Wednesday evening and Friday morning, we are unable to offer individual prayer appointments during this week. If you wish to explore deeper personal issues, please consider booking onto one of our Healing Weeks.

All prices are for full board including breakfast, morning coffee, lunch (a packed lunch is available), afternoon tea and dinner.

To make a booking please telephone the office on 01285 850283 or email bookings@harnhillcentre.org.uk.

Further Details

The aim of this time is to give you the opportunity to be with Father God. Please be aware that:

  • We have no medical facilities on site, and so we are unable to look after medication of any sort, and so if you need to take medication you are responsibility for it.
  • With the exception of married couples, each guest will have their own room as their private space during their stay. All rooms are en-suite and we provide towels and soap. There are tea making facilities in our rooms, and night time drinks and biscuits – along with chocolate – can be purchased.
  • We do welcome those with disabilities on site, and will provide what we can for your comfort. It is worth noting that we are based in an old Manor House and our floor levels do not make it easy for those with walking difficulties. If you would like further information, please make contact with our office.
