‘Light in Desolation’
Tuesday 1st December 3pm - Friday 4th December 2pm
Led by Revd Paul Hunt

Previously advertised as an Advent Quiet Day on Tuesday 1st December, this event is now only available onsite as a residential retreat due to Covid-19 and the restricted numbers.

This Advent residential retreat will include daily reflections led by Revd Paul Hunt and regular times of worship. During your stay, you will also be offered an appointment with Paul or one of the Harnhill team to reflect on the theme of the week and how God may be at work in your life. Please note that prayer ministry will not be available during this retreat. Aside from solid spiritual food, you will also be able to enjoy nourishing home cooked food prepared by our chefs, as well as an opportunity to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Harnhill Centre as you enter into this season of Advent.

Paul is a retired but still `active` minister in the Anglican church living with his wife, Diana (a long-term member of the Prayer Team at Harnhill) at the foot of the hills in Malvern in Worcestershire and a team member of his local church leadership group. He spent 23 years with the Church Mission Society as a mission partner in Malaysia, and then with Diana in Iran. He was then responsible for the selection of mission partners to work in Africa and Asia, before returning to parish life in the Coventry Diocese. He enjoys leading retreats and quiet days, walking the hills, doing conjuring for his grandchildren (they love the same tricks!), and has also been a member of the `Creative Arts Retreat Movement` co leading poetry and prayer retreats. He has had a life time love of cricket and is a life member of the Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

To book your place on this retreat, please visit our Advent Retreat Booking Page and complete the Advent Retreat Booking Form.  Why not extend your stay into the weekend to reflect on your Advent journey?
