Advent Quiet Day: “Waiting is Worship”
Tuesday 2nd December 2025: 10am – 4pm (Registration from 9.30am)

Waiting is Worship We will be looking at the role of waiting in our relationship with Jesus, especially in the light of the Advent hope.

Lenten Quiet Day: “Taking Time”
Tuesday24th February 2026: 10am – 4pm (Registration from 9.30am)

An exploration of our relationship with Father God. During the day, there is an invitation to take some time noticing our resistances to
spending time with Father and how we can open ourselves more to Father’s love. The emphasis will be on practicing the prayer relationship, rather than lots of theory.

Summer Quiet Day: “Do you Love Me”
Saturday 11th July 2026: 10am – 4pm (Registration from 9.30am)

As we consider John 21, we will take a journey reflecting on areas in our lives where we may feel confused and disappointed. There may be areas where we may have moved away from Jesus. As we reflect during the day, we will discover opportunities to move into a closer relationship with the one who asks us “Do you Love Me?”

Our Advent Quiet Day explores the themes of anticipating Jesus through the words of this popular Advent song.

The Dwelling Place
‘How lovely is your dwelling place O Lord Almighty.’ Psalm 84:1
There are several opportunities each week to step away from the busy-ness of life and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Harnhill, including time to receive prayer on a Wednesday evening and Friday morning.
The Dwelling Place Cafe on Monday mornings 10.30am – 12.30pm
On alternate Monday mornings (10.30am – 12.30pm), come and join this group for a gentle and supportive time with chat, coffee and cake in the peaceful surroundings of Harnhill. Space is provided for you to work on your own craft projects, if you would like to. For further details and dates, please contact the Bookings Office using the button on this page. Please note, we are unable to offer personal prayer ministry during this time.
Prayer Ministry and Compline Service on Wednesday evenings 7:30pm – 9pm.
On Wednesday evenings we offer prayer ministry and a quiet space for personal reflection. Members of the Harnhill team will be available to pray with you from 7.30pm until 8.30pm when we will move into the night-time service of Compline at 8.30pm until 9pm. This is held in the Harnhill Church.
Healing Service and Prayer Ministry on Fridays 10.30am
On Fridays, the Barn will be open from 10.30am for quiet prayer (tea and coffee is available). The Healing Service runs from 11am – 12pm. After which there is an opportunity to receive prayer ministry.
Pre-booked lunches will be available at 1pm in they Henley Room
The Cost for these are
Hot meal, pudding & hot drink £15.30 [£16.75 from 1/1/2026]

Soup & a roll £5.90 [£6.30 from 1/1/2026]
Morning Worship on Sundays 10am
At 10am each Sunday, join the Harnhill team for a traditional Morning Prayer service in Harnhill Church. Refreshments will be available in the Henly Room after the service.
(Please note that we are unable to offer personal prayer ministry during this time).
Friends’ Afternoons

This day is open to everyone who has signed up as a Friend of Harnhill. It is an opportunity to meet with Fellow Friends, to reflect on the contribution of the Friends to the life and work of the Centre, to worship and pray together.
We would love for you to join us.
If you would like to become a Friend of Harnhill you may sign up using our application form.
Open Mornings and Afternoons
Interested in understanding a little more about The Harnhill Centre and the ministry we offer, either for yourself or your organisation.
Book into one of our open mornings/afternoons. There will be a short talk about the Centre, a guided tour of the house and facilities. Refreshments will be served.
