Community lunches at the Harnhill Centre have proved a great success over the year that they have been running. Participants receive a hot meal from a menu cooked on the day by our Head Chef Dan. Sarah Haslam is our Community Lunch Coordinator and together with a loyal team of volunteers she serves always the lunches (also including a dessert, usually yoghurt or fruit) with a welcome smile. The lunches are ideal for any guests attending the Friday morning Healing Eucharist, and are also aimed at those in the local area as a means to establishing a sense of community. Lunch is served at 1pm and it also forms the final meal of the week for guests who have been residential for the week at the Centre. Do come and join us for lunch on a Friday, and if possible beforehand at 10.30am for the Healing service. We are always seeking willing volunteers to join the rota helping to serve the lunches.
